Census 2011: West Dunbartonshire CVS Census collects vital information on the current health and activity of the volunteering and third sector in West Dunbartonshire.
It takes place every 2 years and gathers the full range of information needed to help us plan and provide future support services, around funding, charity regulation and training to volunteers and the wider voluntary sector alike. This data can also be used by local organisations and groups as supporting material for planning and application purposes. Through this, we can help improve the communities of West Dunbartonshire. From Third Sector - Work Programme company tried to recruit volunteers to train clients: A4e, a prime contractor for welfare-to-work training, asked a volunteer centre to provide it with volunteers to help with CV workshops for the unemployed. One of the companies being paid to deliver the government’s welfare-to-work programme tried to get volunteers to help to train its unemployed clients. More
