Q: I have a social enterprise idea – how can you help me?
We are happy to support anyone who has a social enterprise idea. We can help identify if there are any existing providers in the area and link you up with them or help you to identify the available market.  We will also be able to signpost you to other support organisations.

Q: Can social enterprises access all WDCVS services?
Yes, our services are open to all organisations in West Dunbartonshire. We can also signpost you to a range of support agencies such as Business Gateway, Firstport, Sensot Legal and Just Enterprise for additional support.

Q: How can we become involved in consortium bids and approaches?
We are keen to support the development of more consortium approaches across the third sector in West Dunbartonshire. If you are interested in this style of funding approach, contact us and register your area of interest. We will introduce you to other organisations in your field of work and can help support the development of partnership agreements and joint bids.

Q: We think we would like to look at contracting and tendering, can you help?
Yes, we are happy to chat this through with you. If you want to progress we can also healthcheck your organisation to make sure you have everything in place. We work closely with the WDC Economic Development Section and Business Gateway and will also link you in with them to make sure that you receive all of the information and support you need.

Q: We are thinking about taking on a community asset – can you help?
Yes, we can. We have supported a number of community asset projects in the last few years. We can help you consider your capacity, the available market, possible funding and help you submit the necessary plans and applications.
