Form-a-thon’s in West Dunbartonshire have been running for 2 years giving community and voluntary groups an opportunity to find out about and how to apply for Awards for All grants, which give grants of between £500 and £5,000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community. Form-a-thon is one of the ways in which we are trying to increase the uptake of Awards for All grants across West Dunbartonshire.

Form-a-thon is provided by a mixture of charities and agencies including WDCVS, Community Links, and West Dunbartonshire Council who are working in
partnership to promote the uptake of grants for local groups by providing the
form-a-thon and developing ideas to promote the up take of grants.

WDCVS has also provided up to date training on constitutions enabling agencies to quickly identify if group constitutions meet the criteria for Awards for All.

HELD: Twice a year

VENUE: Community Education Centre’s across West Dunbartonshire which are central and have disabled access.

DON’T FORGET: Don’t worry if you don’t have all the relevant information to complete the form on the day as one of the Form-a-thon staff is on hand to advise the group on what is needed to complete the form.

REMEMBER: WDCVS staff provide on-going support to enable the grant to be processed. So we’re with you all the way through!!!
