Volunteer Centre
The Volunteer Centre @ WDCVS’s matching services pairs organisations looking for volunteers with people seeking volunteer opportunities with voluntary organisations across the length and breadth of Scotland and beyond.

Voluntary organisations can register their volunteer opportunities on the Centre's database free of charge. Current listings are also posted on the Volunteer Centre Networks’ website and highlighted to registered volunteers who have identified specific areas of volunteering that they are interested in.

Individuals who are interested in volunteering can meet with one of our volunteer advisers who will discuss available volunteer positions matching the individual's personal skills and interests. The Volunteer Centre also promotes youth volunteerring by offering opportunities to gain an Millennium Volunteer Award for those aged 16-25 and for those aged 12-16 recognition via "YOUVOL!" award. We have also recently introduced a new Befriending Service for older people living in West Dunbartonshire. Check out the sub menu.

The Volunteer Centre @ West Dunbartonshire CVS works with volunteers and volunteer involving organisations in the West Dunbartonshire area. We are part of the Volunteer Centre Network in Scotland; if you are looking for Volunteer Centres in other parts of Scotland check out the Scottish Volunteer Network in our links sub section and don't forget to check the sub-section for information on getting volunteers, becoming a volunteer, volunteering publications, or snap shoots of the kinds of opportunities available.
