Volunteer Centre >Supported Volunteering

Our aims: Our Suppoted Vounterr service offers tailored support to volunteers that have additional suport needs such as physical and / or sensory impairment, a previous criminal record, low self-esteem, low self-confidence or other support needs.

Our Volunteer Assistants: Our volunteers are trained local volunteers that will work with the Supported Volunteering Advisers and the Organisation to provide the volunteer with any support required in their opportunity

How to use the service: You or a person on your behalf, can contact the Volunteer Centre where one of the Supported Volunteer Adisers will arrange to meet and have a chat, register you with the service and then we will work together to find a placement that best suits your needs.

For organisations: Contact the Volunteer Centre and arrange an appointment with one of the Supported Voluinteer Advisers. they will arrange to meet with the appropriate person from your organisation, register your opportutnity and then work together to find a suitable volunteeer the suitable support in place.
